Founded in 1979 by Edward Stiefel Sr., Preferred Painters Inc. is a family owned and operated painting company. For 40 years, we have expertly served commercial and residential customers in greater North Jersey. As with many professional paint companies, our roots are in residential painting and our business ethos has always been focused on meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations. By combining top quality products, proper preparation and painting techniques, and traditional customer service values, Preferred Painters expanded from house painting to commercial and industrial projects. Today our primary focus is on interior and exterior commercial and industrial painting and coatings. We specialize in hospitality, retail, apartments complexes, warehouses, business centers, and offices.
In 2014, Edward Stiefel, Jr. moved to Palm Beach County, Florida and opened his independently-owned and operated painting company Preferred Painters South Florida. Preferred Painters South Florida, headquartered in Lake Worth, adheres to the same guiding principles that has nurtured success for his father: use the highest quality products, the proper techniques and best practices, and stay committed to what the customer wants. The South Florida business serves both residential and commercial customers.
